The Government has appointed Kate McKenzie to the Board of NBN Co Limited for a term of three years, commencing 1 December 2019.
Ms McKenzie has extensive experience in telecommunications, including as the CEO of Chorus New Zealand from 2017 to 2019 and the Chief Operations Officer of Telstra from 2013 to 2016.
Ms McKenzie is currently a Director of Allianz Australia and Stockland, and has previously held board positions with Foxtel, Telstra Ventures, Telstra Foundation, Sensis, CSL Ltd, Reach Ltd, Sydney Water Corporation and Rail Corporation NSW.
Justin Milne and Patrick Flannigan will be stepping down from the Board at the completion of their current terms on 10 November 2019.
We congratulate Ms McKenzie on her appointment and thank Mr Milne and Mr Flannigan for their service to NBN.
