Near drowning - Georges Hall, NSW

Police are conducting inquiries after the near drowning of a child in Sydney’s south west, NSW Police say.

About 4.35pm today (Saturday 10 February 2018), a four-year-old boy fell into a pool at a home on Donington Avenue, Georges Hall.

The child was pulled from the pool by family a short time later and resuscitated.

Police and Ambulance Paramedics attended and the boy was taken to Westmead Children’s Hospital where he is in a stable condition.

Family were spoken to by police at the scene and inquiries continue.
