Namoi Cotton is pleased to announce that it has appointed Prue Turnbull to the position of Executive General Manager, Customer Operations.

Namoi CEO, Michael Renehan, said the company was delighted to have been able to recruit someone of Prue's experience and background.
"Prue has worked for GrainCorp for nearly 10 years across all aspects of customer management including account relationships, export management and logistics and trading.
"She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Namoi Cotton around what it takes to deliver really outstanding customer service that adds value to their operations," he said.
While Prue has most recently been based in Sydney with GrainCorp, she operated out of Northern New South Wales for a number of years as Area Manager for Moree South, and Regional Customer Manager. She also has local connections being based at the family Dryland operations near Mungindi.
"I'm looking forward to getting into our Valleys as a priority and will be getting out to our Ginning Operations to meet with customers as soon as possible.
"My primary focus is on making sure Namoi Cotton delivers great service to our clients. I want everything we do to be about ensuring cotton farmers see the value in the services we offer, and that by working with us it will make their businesses stronger and more profitable," Prue said.
"For almost 60 years Namoi Cotton has been an important part of not only the Namoi Valley but the Australian cotton industry as a whole, and is recognised as an industry leader both at home and abroad.
"It's undoubtedly been a tough couple of years, but with some good rainfalls recorded we are starting to see the green shoots of recovery in the industry. I'm really excited to be part of the Namoi legacy, but I'm equally looking forward to helping our cotton growers take advantage of opportunities in the marketplace," she said.
Prue has a Bachelor of Business (Agricultural Commerce) from Sydney University and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance majoring in Financial Markets. She commences with Namoi Cotton after Easter and will be based in Toowoomba.
