The Crisafulli Government has today announced new board appointments for Government Owned Corporations (GOCs).
The five new appointees are from diverse backgrounds and bring a broad range of skills and experience to their respective roles, and include:
- Powerlink: Diana Lollato (director)
- Powerlink: Peta Tilse (director)
- CS Energy: Wendy Agar (director)
- CS Energy: James Versace (director)
- Energy Queensland: Patrick Brady (Chair)
Treasurer and Minister for Energy David Janetzki welcomed the appointments.
"The new board members bring a vast range of talent, skills and experience from across industry, commerce and government," Minister Janetzki said.
"I sincerely thank outgoing board members for their service and look forward to working with new appointees in the years ahead."
Minister for Finance, Trade, Employment and Training Ros Bates also congratulated the new appointees.
"Our energy GOCs are essential for delivering affordable, reliable and sustainable energy to our communities," Minister Bates said.
"Effective management of these businesses, combined with strategic investments, is vital to shaping Queensland's future, ensuring stronger economic outcomes and better livelihoods for our people."
