New CEO To Lead Kimberley Development Commission

  • Glen Chidlow appointed as chief executive officer of the Kimberley Development Commission

Regional Development and Kimberley Minister Stephen Dawson has announced the appointment of Glen Chidlow as chief executive officer of the Kimberley Development Commission.

Mr Chidlow has vast experience and understanding of the Kimberley region. He is currently serving as the commercial general manager at Broome International Airport and served as CEO for Australia's North West Tourism between 2006-2018.

He has also worked at the Kimberley Development Commission previously, as a director of strategic development on project delivery.

The Public Sector Commissioner undertook a thorough recruitment process for the position, ultimately recommending Mr Chidlow for appointment as chief executive officer.

Regional Development Commissions play a vital role in delivering the Cook Government's commitment to creating jobs and driving economic growth across regional Western Australia, supporting efforts to expand and diversify the State's regional economies.

Mr Chidlow will commence his role at the commission in February 2026.

As stated by Regional Development and Kimberley Minister Stephen Dawson:

"Mr Chidlow brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for the region, and I am confident he will lead the commission with distinction.

"I also want to thank Keith Williams and Michele Pucci who have done incredible work during their time as acting CEO at the commission.

"The Kimberley Development Commission plays an important role in driving economic growth, creating local jobs, and supporting communities across the region."
