Greater Shepparton City Council is working to respond to the current COVID-19 outbreak in Shepparton, with 12 positive cases currently confirmed.
Two new testing sites have been set up in the north and south of Shepparton to accommodate the increased demand for testing.
A drive-through testing site has been opened at the stadium at Sports City on Numurkah Road and will be open until 7.45pm tonight. A second drive through testing site will open at the Harness Racing Club on Melbourne Road from tomorrow morning.
Goulburn Valley Health's Acute Respiratory Clinic on Graham Street is also operating and will be open until 7.45pm tonight. Goulburn Valley Health will confirm the opening hours for testing sites over the weekend later this evening.
If you are attending one of these testing sites, please wear your mask and bring some water and food with you in case there are delays.
Now is the time for everyone with even the mildest of symptoms to come forward and get tested. Please also encourage any family and friends who are experiencing symptoms to get tested.
This is what we all need to do to keep ourselves, our family and our community safe. Greater Shepparton has gone through this once before and successfully come out the other side and we can get through it again.
