New Cricket Nets for Tonbridge Reserve: Bayside

Bayside Council will replace the existing cricket nets in Tonbridge Reserve with a four-practice lane, fully netted facility following discussions with Cricket NSW.

The new facility will feature an angled, solid roof to help keep leaf litter off the pitches and reduce ongoing maintenance and slip hazard, and to improve carpet longevity.

Bayside Council's City Projects Program 2020/21 includes the renewal of three cricket practice net facilities and the decommissioning of two others.

The renewed/new facilities are located at Gilchrist Park, Cahill Park and Tonbridge Reserve (Scarborough Park).

The decommissioned facilities are located at Riverine Park and Broadford Street Reserve.
