New E-Learning Module Preps for Aged Care Act

  • the core principles of the new Act 
  • how workers can put the new Act into practice 
  • how to support older people's rights through inclusive and respectful care.

Focusing on supported decision-making and cultural safety, it also includes practical tools for you to share with the older people in your care to help:

  • promote informed decision-making
  • encourage meaningful conversations
  • build a shared understanding of quality care between providers, workers and older people.

If you require a certificate of completion, the training is also available through Alis, the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission's online training platform. It's free for registered providers, associated providers, workers and governing body members.
