New footpath in Carisbrook

Council has commenced works to construct a new footpath along Green Street, Carisbrook – running from Bucknall St to the pedestrian bridge over Tullaroop Creek (Pyrenees Highway side).

The works are being undertaken by Council's works team and are funded for as part of Council's footpaths renewals budget.

Works commenced today, Tuesday 18 May, and are expected to take 3 to 4 weeks to complete, weather pending.

Please note there will be no access to the pedestrian bridge from Tuesday 18/05 to Thursday 20/05.

There will be restricted parking along Green Street at times over the works period.

Access to the playground equipment and park furniture at the base of Green Street will also be restricted for the first 1-2 weeks of the works.

Please note - Council will ensure the playground and park furniture is made accessible for the Maryborough Little Athletics Club to use the area for Cross Country this Friday night (21/5).
