New Graduates Boost Talent at DPC

The Department of the Premier and Cabinet has kicked off 2026 by welcoming five new graduates to its Award-Winning Graduate Program - the start of a year filled with learning, innovation, collaboration and hands‑on experience.

The award winning DPC Graduate program has kicked off for 2026 with five new Graduates across the Department.

Their journey began with an interactive induction designed to give them a hands‑on understanding of the Department's work and help them build connections with one another and their DPC colleagues.

Over the coming year, they'll rotate through teams, contribute to major projects, and undertake ongoing professional learning and development, including participating in the Public Sector Commissions (PSC) Launch Program alongside other public sector graduates.

They will also benefit from mentoring and learn directly from senior leaders and other Department experts.

Selected from nearly 300 applicants, this cohort brings a broad mix of academic backgrounds and fresh perspectives that will enrich the Department, an important step in building a strong, future‑ready public sector workforce.
