Interest and investment are growing in the Territory as major brands and local operators bring new tourism, hotel, and hospitality products to market.
This comes as over 20 Territory businesses co-invest with the Government to strengthen our tourism offering.

Groundbreaking new tourism and hospitality investment right across the Northern Territory continues to signal growing confidence in the visitor economy.
Minister for Tourism and Hospitality, Marie-Clare Boothby, said the Territory was seeing real momentum as the CLP Government worked hard to rebuild the economy.
"Global interest and investment continue to signal confidence in our work to rebuild the Territory's economy," Minister Boothby said. "All the more as we continue to make headlines for the right reasons: for our record investments and our work to reduce crime and restore our lifestyle."
"I was with Delaware North at Mindil Beach Casino Resort only a few weeks ago, where we cut the ribbon on their latest project. With the voco Darwin Suites, we've welcomed IHG back to market. And from The Leea Resort in Darwin to Intrepid at Ooraminna Station, local investors and big brands are investing in the Territory's hotel and tourism industries for the first time in a long time.
"And we're seeing this growing confidence in hospitality as well, as new products like BlueHole Steakhouse in Darwin and Outback Kebabs and Pizza in Stuart Park create jobs and enrich our lifestyle and visitor experience."
Global operator, Journey Beyond, has also notably expanded its footprint in the Territory since 2024, with the acquisition of the iconic 110-room Kakadu Crocodile Hotel in Jabiru. This adds to its portfolio of iconic products and services, including Voyages Ayers Rock Resort, The Ghan, Sealink, and Outback Spirit Tours. The company has already flagged further investment in the world-renowned Croc Hotel.
Executive GM of Sales and Partnerships at Journey Beyond, Alicia Triggs, said they were optimistic about the Territory's tourism future.

The Government is also co-investing in accommodation products through the recently-announced NT Experience Fund, expanding accommodation offerings across our regions, including among others:
J&L Outback Experience in Kurrku Homeland with their Kurrku Cultural Stay Experience Kings Creek Station in Petermann and Renner Springs Roadhouse in the Barkly with their family accommodation expansionsCooinda Lodge in Kakadu with their self-contained unit project
"This is what the Visitor Economy Strategy 2032 is about: converting interest into investment, and ultimately, incomes for Territorians - particularly in our regions." Minister Boothby said. "And our plan for growth is delivering results."
"After years of decline, the Territory's economy continues to go from strength to strength. In fact, the Territory's Gross State Product isn't just growing - it's accelerating, set to expand by 5.8% in 2026/27. That's on top of exceptional figures when it comes to jobs, exports, minerals and our population.
"In our year of growth, certainty and security, we are absolutely keeping our promise to rebuild the Territory's economy and the results are starting to show it."
