New path to connect communities in Lalor and Epping

Getting around Lalor and Epping is about to get a whole lot easier, thanks to the new walking and cycling path being built between Kingsway Drive and Deveny Road.

The 680 metre concreted connection will include solar lighting for improved night-time safety and two landscaped rest areas. The path will be three metres wide, perfect for walking, cycling and scooting, and will be landscaped at each end of the connection.

Weather permitting, the path is expected to be complete by the end of August.

This project is being delivered by the City of Whittlesea with the support of the Victorian Government’s Department of Justice and Community Safety.
