The playground at Frank Mason Reserve in South Windsor is getting a big upgrade!

From Monday 27 October 2025, the reserve will be closed to allow for the removal of the ageing play space and the installation of new, accessible play equipment, plus footpaths to the playground from McQuade Ave.

The new play equipment will include a double swing set including basket swing, multi-play unit with multiple slides and climbing activities, mini spinner and single seat rocker. There will be a shade sail over the new play space, as well as seating, bins and landscaping.

Works are anticipated to take between 4-6 weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Council is committed to providing accessible play spaces for a variety of ages across our City as part of its multi-year prioritised asset renewal program.
