New Zealand, a State Party to the International Criminal Court (ICC) since 2002, has made a voluntary contribution of EUR 123,180 to the Trust Fund for Victims (TFV), reaffirming its commitment to international justice and the rights of victims of crimes under the Rome Statute.
This unrestricted contribution advances the TFV's mandate to make visible the plight of victims, mobilise resources for their benefit, and implement programmes that serve them - encompassing both ICC‑ordered reparations and assistance programmes that address the physical, psychological, and material needs of victims and affected communities.
Mr Andres Parmas, Chair of the Board of Directors of the TFV, "I warmly welcome New Zealand's generous support for the Trust Fund for Victims. New Zealand has stood with victims of the gravest crimes for many years, and this latest contribution strengthens our capacity to deliver meaningful reparation and other programmes for the benefit of the victims to those who need it most. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I extend our sincere gratitude."

Ms. Charlotte Frater, Ambassador of New Zealand to the Kingdom of The Netherlands stated, "It is an honour to continue New Zealand's longstanding support for the International Criminal Court and the Trust Fund for Victims, which does such vital work to support and empower victims and communities affected by the gravest international crimes. New Zealand remains committed to supporting efforts that place victims at the heart of international justice". New Zealand has supported the TFV through voluntary contributions since 2018.
