Scholarship opens for young Logan artists

Applications are now open for the Robyn Daw Young Visual Artist Scholarship.

For the last decade before her passing, the late Robyn Daw was Logan City Council's Creative Industries Program Leader.

The $7000 scholarship, which honours the respected artist, educator, writer and arts manager, is open to artists aged 18 to 35-years-old from the City of Logan who use cultural themes in their arts practice.

Up to eight applicants will be shortlisted to prepare work to exhibit at Logan Art Gallery between October 31, 2026 and January 16, 2027.

They will also participate in a funded professional development and workshop program between June and September this year.

Applications close at 2pm on Saturday, May 9.
