Police have nabbed three drink drivers in and around Ballarat overnight within several hours, Victoria Police say.
The first driver, a 48-year-old Sebastopol man, was intercepted at 1am after driving from Clunes to Ballarat on tyres which had hardly any rubber left on the rims. He underwent a breath test and returned a reading of 0.225%.
The second driver that came to the attention of police was a 25-year-old woman from Redan. She was intercepted at 2am in Delacombe and following a breath test returned a reading of 0.111%.
An hour and a half later at 3.30am in Ballarat, police intercepted a third driver, a 42-year-old Mt Clear man. This driver underwent a breath test and returned a reading of 0.117%.
All drivers had their licences suspended and will be charged on summons with drink driving and other traffic matters.
