Night Work Continues In Taree And Wingham

MidCoast Council

In Wingham, MidCoast Council crews will continue working on the Moon and Farquhar Street roundabout from Monday 27 to Wednesday 29 July. Meanwhile in Taree, crews will be working on High Street (near Manning Base Hospital) on Thursday 30 July.

Crews will carry out the work at night to minimise disruption for motorists.

There will be changes to traffic movements during this time, and motorists are urged to exercise caution and always observe signage.

Heavy patching work aims to repair the worst sections of damaged roads. It restores strength and improves safety in specific areas without needing a full rebuild. While not a long-term solution, it helps keep roads safe and drivable while working within budget to prolong the life of a road.

This work will be funded through Council's maintenance budget. For updates on road and bridge works, visit Council's Roads Hub: www.midcoast.nsw.gov.au/roads-hub
