Night works are beginning in Kilmore as part of the Sydney Street Rejuvenation Project.
The works will see new light poles in Sydney Street for improved illumination and the installation of pedestrian refuges at three locations.
Traffic management will be in place between Bourke and Union Street from 7pm to 5am each weeknight from Monday 14 November for about three weeks.
Some works and traffic management will also be in place at Mitchell Street.
Traffic along Sydney Street may be reduced to one lane during the night works, with potential for some extended delays for vehicles travelling north and south.
Council and the appointed contractors will work to ensure the impact is minimal, and works are completed as quickly as possible.
