No curfew for Berejiklian & Morrison electorates in Sydney

The latest tightening of lockdown rules across Greater Sydney, random area classification and partial curfew have sparked debate about the NSW government's confusing and inconsistent approach, and repeated failure of communication with the residents since the Delta outbreak began in June.

Remember Premier Gladys Berejiklian plunged the entire state into lockdown via a bizarre Twitter post, even confusing other states?

New rules this Friday which irrationally split the previous lockdown area boundaries and lockdown end dates.

Part of the Illawarra region is now classified differently:

Greater Sydney residents will be required to carry a permit to leave their LGA but Shellharbour, near Wollongong, is exempt from this rule after extensive lobbying and pressure.

Strangely, the Central Coast is also separated from Greater Sydney despite its much more direct connectivity to Sydney and significantly higher number of daily commuters than Wollongong (and yes, there was no confirmed cases in Wollongong).

Constantly and randomly changing rules, blame games, "delta is different", Western Sydney people are different etc.

Result? 1 case reaching now near 1000 a day. The NSW government has not only crippled Australia but also put New Zealand in lockdown. Cases have only been rising while languishing strict measures hurt the very people who are doing the right thing.

And here comes curfew for select areas of Greater Sydney.

What Labor MP Jason Clare has shared is very interesting if you look at the map.
