While the Presidents Cup is bringing joy to golfers and golf fans, residents and visitors to the local area are experiencing extra traffic congestion and frustration.
Please be aware that if you are travelling to Sandringham Leisure Centre or any of the businesses in Tulip Street from the north east, there is NO RIGHT TURN into Tulip Street and Reserve Road is closed from Park Road to Weatherall Road southbound between 7am - 7pm.
Please turn off early at Talinga Road and enter Tulip Street via George Street. This will reduce congestion along Reserve Road and reduce your travel time to Tulip Street.
If you miss the turn off at Talinga Road, you may be detoured down Park Road and have to do a big loop to where you want to go. The area is particularly busy during school drop off and pick up times so avoid the area if you can.
Please be patient and obey detour signs and traffic controllers. The Presidents Cup is on from 9 - 15 December and things will return to normal next week.
