Gwydir Shire Council are installing locks on the North Star Transfer Station and the Croppa Creek Landfill.
Letters were sent to residents on 1 May 2025 in each catchment area with their access codes and user agreement forms.
The locks will be installed on Monday, 2 June 2025. Residents need to return the Terms of Use Agreement Forms by Monday, 30 June 2025.
Council will be holding information sessions at both locations to help residents download and access the app, distribute access codes and answer any questions:
• North Star Sporting Club on Thursday, 22 May 2025 from 5:00pm
• Croppa Creek Bowling Club on Friday, 23 May 2025 from 5:00pm
Council will also leave information packs with user agreement forms at the Vicarage Café in North Star and the Croppa Creek Store. These will be delivered to those locations sometime this week.
