Nothing grand about Albert Park speedster

Prahran Highway Patrol officers detected and intercepted a speeding vehicle in Albert Park last night.

A Subaru station wagon was detected by laser travelling at 103km/h along a 50km/h zone on Lakeside Drive.

The station wagon was intercepted and police spoke to a 45-year-old man from South Melbourne.

The car was impounded with $896.10 towing costs and the man is expected to be charged with speed and traffic related offences.
