Kempsey Shire Council
Kempsey Shire Council unfortunately needs to remove a line of trees on Elbow Street West Kempsey due to the impact roots are having on the footpath which is a hazard to pedestrians.
These removals are part of the upgrades being carried out to Kempsey Library.
Once the trees have been removed, Council will relay the footpath and a new path to the Library, to match the other footpaths in West Kempsey.
Council is reviewing options to have the wood from the cedar trees repurposed.
Works will be carried out on Saturday 16 October. The footpath near the library will not be accessible for pedestrian use.
