Northern Territory Police have issued a notice to appear in court to a 19-year-old man in relation to an incident on Thursday 30 April 2020.
At around 12:30pm, the man was involved in a disturbance with a group of people outside a shopping centre in Bakewell. During the disturbance, the man allegedly struck another 19-year-old man with a vehicle and crashed into a nearby parked vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries were suffered.
On Tuesday 12 May, detectives from Strike Force Trident spoke to the man at his residence.
He was issued a notice to appear for:
- engage in violent conduct
- recklessly endanger serious harm
- not stop after crash
- drive vehicle whilst unlicensed
He is scheduled to appear in Darwin Local Court Tuesday 14 July 2020.
