Noticeboard - 20 March 2023 Edition

Mayor's Message

Latrobe City Council, in partnership with the Australian Government's Local Jobs Program (LJP) will host the next Gippsland Local Jobs Expo in Morwell.

The Jobs Expo will be held at Mid Valley Shopping Centre on Thursday 23 March between 9.30am to 2.30pm.

The event is an opportunity for job seekers to meet with employers and discuss available positions, apprenticeships and career pathways in Latrobe City and the surrounding

region. Job seekers will not need to register for this event.

Gippsland Local Jobs Expo in Morwell is a great opportunity for people looking for work to connect with local employers.

There will be many jobs in a variety of industries advertised on the day, so if you are currently looking for work opportunities, I encourage you head along and chat to one of the many employers who will be at the expo.

Job seekers can make the most of the Expo by bringing along their resumes, if you have one ready to go. As the Skills and Jobs Centre will be offering express resume checks and interview skills coaching, along with a free sausage sizzle.

I look forward to seeing you at the Gippsland Local Jobs Expo.

Cr Kellie O'Callaghan

Mayor of Latrobe City Council
