Three- and four-year-old kindergarten registrations are open for 2026.
Children are eligible to attend kindergarten in 2026 if they turn three or four before 30 April 2026.
Campaspe Shire Mayor, Cr Daniel Mackrell encourages families to give their child the best start to learning by registering at a kindergarten that suits their needs.
"While registrations can be made at any time of year, registering for a first-round offer between 1 May and 30 June provides the best chance of securing a spot at your preferred kindergarten," Cr Mackrell said.
"Many kindergartens will run open days throughout May, which is a great opportunity to learn about the programs available for your child in making such an important decision for their development.
"As Victorian children can complete up to two years of funded kindergarten, children born between 1 January and 30 April can begin three-year-old kindergarten the year they turn three or four, allowing families to decide how old their child will turn in their first year of school," Cr Mackrell said.
