The 2025 NRL Telstra Premiership Finals Series will feature matches in two countries and five major cities.
The NRL today confirmed the times and venues for all Week One matches, which will feature matches in Melbourne, Auckland, Sydney and Canberra:
- Melbourne Storm against Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs on Friday night at AAMI Park;
- New Zealand Warriors against Penrith Panthers on Saturday in the earlier match at Go Media Stadium;
- Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks hosting Sydney Roosters at Sharks Stadium on Saturday night;
- Minor Premiers Canberra Raiders facing Brisbane Broncos at GIO Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The schedule for Week Two finals has also been released with a fan friendly Sunday afternoon slot being created. The change to Week Two scheduling also allows teams to have a longer turnaround into Week Two matches.
NRL Chief Executive Andrew Abdo said the finish to the 2025 regular season was exceptional.
"The NRL Telstra Premiership 2025 regular season has broken more records. Brilliant football, the highest average ball in play on record and wonderful support from fans sets up for an exciting finals series," Mr Abdo said.
"More than four million people attended Premiership matches in the regular season and close to 150 million people watched live across the country, making this another record season for the NRL.
"The finals will be unpredictable and the race for Premiership glory is wide open."
With Brisbane to host a Finals match in Week Two or Three, the 2025 Finals Series will have reach across two countries and five major cities.
