NRL welcomes EISS Super as official NSW Regional Series partner

The NRL today announced multi-award winning industry super fund EISS Super has joined the NRL community as the official partner of the NSW Regional Series which forms part of the 2020 NRL Telstra Premiership.

The partnership is focussed on building and promoting rugby league in regional and rural communities throughout New South Wales.

The members-first super fund, with origins in the energy industry, directly supports the NSW Regional Series, which will see fixtures of the 2020 NRL Telstra Premiership played in Wagga Wagga, Bathurst, Gosford and Tamworth.

EISS Super's support also includes taking the annual Charity Shield match between St George Illawarra and South Sydney Rabbitohs, to Mudgee's Glen Willow Stadium on February 29.

"It's been an extraordinarily tough time for the rugby league family in regional and rural New South Wales, so we're delighted that alongside EISS Super, our clubs and players will be visiting these communities and playing official NRL Telstra Premiership fixtures as part of the NSW Regional Series," NRL Chief Commercial Officer Andrew Abdo said.

"EISS Super have a great deal of members living and working in regional NSW and that's also where our fans are as well, so it's fitting to be working together to bring these Premiership games to these communities."

EISS Super Chief Executive Officer, Alexander Hutchison said: "We put our members at the centre of everything we do. We regularly meet with our members in regional and rural areas, so we understand how difficult times have been due to both the drought, and more recently the bushfires.

"This partnership is an opportunity for us to give back and support our members living and working in these communities, which also benefits the community at large."
