NSW Farmers President on Jodi McKay’s resignation

NSW Farmers would like to thank Jodi McKay for her commitment to rural and regional communities during her time as the state’s opposition leader.

NSW Farmers’ President James Jackson said over the past two years Ms McKay took a genuine interest in the state’s agricultural issues and increased NSW Labor’s connection with the bush.

“We’d like to thank Jodi for her work in building a closer relationship with our Association.

“Jodi and her team made it a priority in our regular meetings to understand the needs of the state’s farming and regional communities.

“We’d like to wish NSW Labor well as it transitions under new leadership and we hope engagement with farmers and rural communities will only strengthen,” Mr Jackson said.
