A man has been charged following two pursuits through Sydney’s south west yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 4.25pm today, police attempted to pull over a gold-coloured Hyundai Tiburon, on Denham Court Road, Denham Court, when it is alleged the driver failed to stop.

A pursuit ensued but was terminated a short time later.

The vehicle was later sighted on Camden Valley Way, Catherine Field.

Police then attempted to pull the vehicle over and it is alleged the driver failed to stop again.

A second pursuit ensued but was terminated a short time later.

Soon after, the vehicle was located abandoned in a paddock in Oran Park.

Police have been told two men were seen running through a paddock near where the vehicle was located.

Following inquiries, police later stopped a Holden Commodore on Peter Brock Drive, Oran Park, and arrested two men.

The men were taken to Narellan Police Station.

One man, an 18-year-old male, was charged with not stop vehicle when directed to do so, police pursuit – nonstop – drive dangerously and non comply conditions of licence.

He was granted bail and is due to appear at Moss Vale Local Court on Tuesday 27 September 2016.

A second man was released without charge.
