NSW man's charges upgraded to murder

Police have upgraded charges against a man following an alleged assault in Kings Cross, after a man died at a nursing home last week. , NSW Police say

About 12.10am on Monday 11 April 2016, a 50-year-old man was allegedly pushed over by a 45-year-old man, in Tom Uren Square at Woolloomooloo.

The 50-year-old man was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a critical condition.

On Tuesday 12 April 2016, a police arrested a 45-year-old man and he was charged with recklessly inflict grievous bodily harm.

On Wednesday 6 July 2016, the 50-year-old man died at a nursing home in Liverpool.

today, the 45-year-old man’s charges were upgraded to murder at Central Local Court.
