NSW police and family hold serious concerns for missing Penrith woman, Preethi Reddy

Police are appealing for information in relation to whereabouts of a woman who has not been seen since the weekend.

Preethi Reddy, aged 32, attended a dental convention at St Leonards at the weekend, and last spoke with her family about 11am on Sunday (3 March 2019), saying she planned to head home after having a late breakfast in Sydney.

She was reported missing to Nepean Police Area Command later that night after she failed to arrive home.

Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command commenced inquiries and have established she was at a fast food restaurant on George Street near King Street about 2.15am on Sunday.

She was captured on CCTV inside the restaurant and appears to leave alone a short time later, walking south toward Market Street.

Preethi is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, with a slim build, long black hair, and brown eyes.

She is depicted in the CCTV as wearing dark-green long-sleeved top, black pants, and black ballet flats, and carrying a taupe-coloured handbag.

It is believed Preethi drove her grey 2016-model Volkswagen Golf, with NSW registration DFP78P, to St Leonards on Friday (1 March 2019), but it has yet to be located.

Her disappearance is out of character and there are serious concerns for her welfare.

Anyone with information in relation to Preethi Reddy's whereabouts or the location of her vehicle is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence.
