Police are appealing for witnesses after an aggravated break and enter at a service station in the Central Coast this morning, NSW Police say.
About 3.30am (Thursday 11 October 2018), a male employee was in the office of the service station, when he heard a loud noise.
The employee went to investigate and was confronted by two men, one armed with a hammer.
The men fled the store on foot, with a sum of cash and cigarettes.
They were last seen in a westerly direction along Bellevue Road towards Tumbi Road.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
Officers from Brisbane Water Police District were alerted and commenced investigations.
Police would like to speak with two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The first man is described as being approximately 168cm tall, of slim build, wearing a dark hooded jumper, dark coloured pants, and a black scarf with white stripes wrapped around his face.
The second man is described as wearing dark coloured clothing.
As inquiries continue, anyone with information or who was in the vicinity at the time of the incident, is urged to come forward.
