NSW police officer issued court attendance notice

A police officer has been issued a court attendance notice after allegedly failing to leave a licensed premises earlier this year, NSW Police say.

It will be alleged the off-duty officer was refused entry to a venue at Pyrmont in the early hours of Monday 17 April 2017, but declined to leave the location.

The 24-year-old constable, who is attached to a specialist command, was yesterday issued a court attendance notice for the offence of fail to leave premises when required.

She is expected to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 25 October 2017.
