NSW police probe after shot fired

Police are investigating after a shot was fired at Tweeds Heads South last night, NSW Police say.

About 9pm yesterday (Tuesday 6 February 2018), a man was asleep in a prime mover parked at Enterprise Avenue, Tweed Heads South.

The man woke to a loud noise before finding small glass fragments on his bed. The shattered glass caused minor cuts to his legs.

Police from Tweed/Byron Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

A hole was located in the front windscreen and a projectile casing was found lodged in the rear wall.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact Police or Crime Stoppers.
