NSW police probe ATM thefts

Byron Bay detectives are appealing for assistance from the public following the theft of an ATM in Brunswick Heads earlier this month, NSW Police say.

Between the hours of 9.30pm (3 March 2017) and 8.30am (4 March 2017), an ATM was stolen from inside a pizza shop on Booyun Street, Brunswick Heads.

The ATM is described as a Triton – RL5000 model that contained an amount of cash.

Police believe that this theft may be linked to another offence that occurred at a Cafe in Lennox Head on 8 February 2017 where an ATM was stolen.

Anyone with information about these thefts should contact their local police or Crime Stoppers.
