NSW police probe robbery

Police are investigating a robbery at a freight yard in Broken Hill this morning, NSW Police say.

About 4am today (Wednesday 26 September 2018), a male employee arrived at a freight yard at Pinnacles Place, Broken Hill, and found cigarettes and medication missing.

Officers from Barrier Police District were notified and commenced an investigation.

The stolen goods are suspected to be valued at up to $66,000.

Initial inquiries have led police to believe the offender left in a white single-cab 2WD tray top ute which was last seen travelling on Kanandah Road between 3am and 3.45am this morning.

Anyone with information that may assist investigators is urged to contact Broken Hill Police or Crime Stoppers.
