Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Port Stephens yesterday, NSW Police say.
About 8pm today, a 53-year-old man was driving his vehicle south on Pindima Road, Pindima, when his vehicle left the road and travelled down an embankment.
The driver, who is local to the area, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
A crime scene has been established at the crash site while investigations continue and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
