NSW Police Reissue Plea for Info on Armidale Home Invasion

Investigators have renewed their appeal for information after a man was stabbed during a home invasion in the state's northern tablelands in June.

About 10.10pm on Sunday 25 June 2023, emergency services were called to a home on Garibaldi Street, Armidale, following reports a man had been stabbed.

Police were told four men forced entry into a home and stabbed a 67-year-old man twice and stole his mobile phone and a watch before fleeing the location.

The man was taken to Armidale Hospital by NSW Ambulance Paramedics for treatment of injuries.

Officers attached to New England Police District have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
