NSW police seek info after armed robbery near Lake Macquarie

Police are appealing for information after an armed robbery near Lake Macquarie yesterday, NSW Police say.

Police have been told just after 4pm today, an unknown man entered a shop on Hexham Street, Kahibah, armed with a knife.

The man then demanded money and left the store with cash. He was last seen walking down Kenibea Avenue.

The man is described as being in his mid 30s with a medium build and about 178cm tall with short shaved hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
