NSW police seek info after firearms stolen near Bathurst

Police are appealing for public information after firearms were stolen from a property near Bathurst, NSW Police say.

Sometime between Wednesday 20 December 2017 and Thursday 8 February 2018, a property on Bundaleer Road, about 37km from Bathurst, was broken into.

Six firearms were stolen from a gun safe and two chainsaws were also taken.

The occupants notified police once they noticed the items missing.

Officers attached to Chifley Local Area Command commenced investigations and are urging anyone with any information that may assist to come forward.

The smallest piece of information could assist investigators.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
