NSW police seize slippery character

Police have seized a slippery character after executing a search warrant in Castle Hill today, NSW Police say.

About 6am today (Thursday 4 January 2018), police executed a search warrant on a home on Nottingham Avenue, Castle Hill.

Police from The Hills Local Area Command and North West Metro Operations Support Group seized prohibited drugs and three mobile phones from the premises before uncovering a juvenile python.

Police weren’t rattled by the scaley occupant, successfully seizing the serpent without engaging in a hissy fit.

The snake has been surrendered to WIRES for a check-up and re-homing.

Inquiries into the rogue reptile and other items seized are continuing.
