NSW SES currently has 42 warnings issued (as of 5am Friday 22 August) for residents across the impacted areas from Wollongong to Goondiwindi.

A prepare to isolate warning is currently in place for residents at Gunnedah.

Rain slowed across the northern and central western slopes and adjacent inland overnight and will contract to coastal areas before easing further later today.
