NSWPF civilian employee charged driving offences - Middleton Grange

A civilian employee of the NSW Police has been charged for speeding and drink driving offences in Sydney's south-west.

About 6pm yesterday (Tuesday 8 October 2019), police detected a vehicle travelling east on Flynn Ave, Middleton Grange at 81km/h in a 50km/h zone.

Officers from the Liverpool Traffic and Highway Patrol stopped the vehicle and spoke with a 64-year-old man.

The man was taken to Green Valley Police Station where he provided breath analysis sample that returned a reading of 0.115.

He was charged with exceed speed limit over 20km/h and mid-range drink driving.

The man, who is attached to a specialist command, was issued a future court attendance notice to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Wednesday 30 October 2019.
