NT Environment Protection Authority Appoints New Member

The Northern Territory Environment Protection Authority (NT EPA) has welcomed a new member, local Territorian Jordanna (Jordy) Bowman.

Having worked for federal, state and territory governments, Aboriginal corporations and not-for-profit organisations, Ms Bowman brings a wealth of local knowledge and experience to the NT EPA Board.

Ms Bowman is also a member of the Cooperative Research Centre on Transformations in Mining Economies Impact Committee where she has a key role in providing advice about improving social and economic outcomes from mine closures and transition projects.

Chaired by Dr Paul Vogel AM, the NT EPA Board members include Janice van Reyk, Joe Woodward, Samantha Nunan, Dr Rod Lukatelich, Jordy Bowman and NT Planning Commission Chair Dr David Ritchie as an ex officio member.

The NT EPA Board is an independent authority established under the Northern Territory Environment Protection Authority Act 2012.
