Numerous high-end bicycles and watches seized at Gold Coast

Police have recovered a number of allegedly stolen high-end bikes and watches after searching a Gold Coast residence.

A 39-year-old man was charged with multiple offences after police executed a search warrant at an apartment on the Gold Coast Highway, Miami.

It is alleged police found at least 15 high-end road and mountain bikes and more than two dozen watches during the search (pictures and video below).

Police also allegedly found a small quantity of drugs and drug utensils.

Police believe a number of the items were allegedly stolen from residences in the Miami neighbourhood between the evening of April 26 and the morning of April 27.

The bicycles range in value and colour with brands including, but not limited to S-Works, Cervelo, Giant, Trek and Merida. The watches include brands such as G-Shock, Fossil, Pulsar, Michael Hill and several other brands.

The bicycles and watches are currently being stored at the Burleigh Heads Police Station. For those who may own one of the stolen bikes and/or watches, relevant identification or proof of purchase will be required.
