TODAY, Mayor Zohran Mamdani and New York City Public Schools Chancellor Kamar Samuels celebrated the opening day of 3-K and Pre-K applications with a visit to a 3-K and Pre-K child care center in Cypress Hills. The application is open from today until February 27, 2026 and parents of kids turning 3 or 4 years old this year are encouraged to apply at myschools.nyc.
