Nyngan Drug Bust: Man Faces 17 Charges

A man will face court over an alleged drug supply in the state's west today.

In October 2025, officers attached to Central North Police District established Strike Force Clavin and commenced an investigation into an alleged drug supply in Nyngan area.

About 7.30am today (Thursday 18 December 2025), strike force detectives, with the assistance from Rural Crime Prevention Team (RCPT), executed a search warrant at a home on Oxley Street, Nyngan, where they located and seized methylamphetamine, cash, power tools and a mobile phone.

A 29-year-old man was taken to Nyngan Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug more than small and less than or equal to indictable quantity (five counts), supply prohibited drug less than or equal to small quantity (three counts), drive motor vehicle during disqualification period, supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, organises/conducts/assists drug premises, possess prohibited drug (four counts), goods suspected stolen in/on premises, and knowingly deal with proceeds of crime.

Police will allege in court that the man was involved in possessing and supplying about 22g of drugs consisting of Methylamphetamine, cocaine and cannabis, since October this year.

He was refused bail to appear at Bail Division Court 4 tomorrow (Friday 19 December 2025).

Inquiries under Strike Force Clavin continue.
