NZ police advice for national remembrance events

Police will be standing with New Zealand as we come together to remember those who tragically lost their lives in the Christchurch terror attacks of 15 March.

The National Remembrance Service will take place at Hagley Park in Christchurch at 10am tomorrow, with a number of other centres also planning commemoration services.

The safety of the public is our top priority. While Police has no information to suggest any specific risks to public safety, the national threat level remains high and Police's vigilance and visible presence throughout New Zealand will continue.
