One person has died in a single-vehicle crash in Gisborne.
Emergency services were called to Harris Street just before 9:40pm last night where a vehicle had crashed into a fence.
Despite medical attention, the sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
The Serious Crash Unit is making enquiries.
